Lockdown Over!

We are back!
Starting from the 1st of February, we are now at 50% capacity!
Up to 24 people in the Party Room and up to 15 people in one court!

We have all sorts of things to do. We can celebrate your birthday, participate in a team building event, or just have fun. Come see what's happening with us - it will be exciting!

The Party Room

Looking for a place to have your birthday party, team building event or gathering?

Our Karaoke Party Room is perfect! You can relax and bring in food and drinks from outside, and you're welcome to BYOB as long as you have a Special Occasions Permit.

Plus, we have lots of great amenities included and a premium karaoke HD sound system with 200,000 songs!

Archery Tag

Want to shoot at your friends? You can do that. But they will also be able to shoot you back! It is like playing dodgeball with bows and arrows. You get put in for every time you score, but there are rules!

Ricochets don't count, and your bow and arrow also count as your body. You wear helmets so you don't get hurt, and the arrows have foam tips so you can feel the impact without it being dangerous.

Beginner archery training

Want to practice your target aiming before stepping into combat?

Our coaches can guide you through the game in a one-hour long session. There are digital targets to shoot at and you and up to 6 of your friends can play together. You can compete against each other by testing your accuracy or speed (or both!), or play as teams. Maybe even compete against the coach!

Your own stats are generated. If you compare these, then you can see how you are doing on certain things. If one person has been playing for more time than someone else, maybe they know some secrets that will help them?

Nerf Wars

Do you want to shoot in a modern way? You can do that with a Nerf Blaster! The Nerf Surgefire shoots powerful darts from far away. It has quickly spinning barrels that can release multiple darts at once or in rapid-fire succession.

The Nerf Strongarm has high-powered blasters so it is easier to take down enemies in close combat. But you should also use the rangefinder if there are obstacles between you and an enemy target.

Saber wars

Relive your Star War’s fantasy by joining the ranks of the Jedi Council or succumbing to the dark side! Defend Princess Leia from being captured or (if you’re bringing kids) reenact the infamous Youngling’s scene 😈

Bubble Soccer

Bubble Soccer is an amazing game! It can make you feel like an unstoppable force. Get your Bubble Soccer suit on and play with your friends (safely). You will be running, tumbling, and rolling around without realizing time is passing by until it's over too quickly.

The suits are sanitized and cleaned before and after each session!

blacklight dodgeball or blacklight basketball

In our dodgeball, we forget our problems and just have fun. We bring back memories from when we were younger. Sometimes we also play basketball in the dark with glowing balls. This way people can enjoy their favorite sport even when it is raining or dark outside.

Private gym space

At $12 per person per hour - minimum 2 people charge on weekdays, and minimum 4 people charge on Friday, Saturday and Sunday - Archer’s Arena offers private gym space if you want to exercise without having to worry about a monthly subscription or other outside people.

Train with no judgment at our indoor gym that will be private to you and your group during your session and lose all those extra pounds built up during quarantine.

We're Back Open, Hope You're Ready To Play!

We're Back Open, Hope You're Ready To Play!

We still have all your favourite activities: Archery Tag, Nerf Wars, Saber Wars, Bubble Soccer, and Blacklight Dodgeball. As well as a fun new addition, glow in the dark Basketball, which can be played on its own, or as apart of your Blacklight Dodgeball game. You can also rent our courts to play some regular B-Ball with your friends.

We're Coming Back!

We're Coming Back!

Hey everybody! As Ontario gets closer to step 3, we’re getting ready to re-open, and we’re now taking pre-bookings for mid July. We have all your favourite activities to choose from, such as Combat Archery, Nerf Wars, Bubble Soccer, Dodgeball or Saber Wars. We’ve also recently added basketball and a full weight gym! If all that isn’t enough for you, we even have Toronto’s only 100ft indoor Archery Range so you and your apocalypse team can train for the next “hunger games”. Or just practice your aim.

Here at Archers Arena, we’ve taken this time off to reflect on what worked best, and what needed improving. Especially focusing on how to deliver the same fun experience in a post COVID world. Our cleaning procedures were always top notch, but we’ve taken them to a whole new level by thoroughly cleaning and washing our gear with iso-propyl alcohol as well as sterilizing and deodorizing with UVC lights.

We’ve compartmentalized the Arena and all of our bookings now have their own separate entrances. When you come it, you’ll NEVER mix with another group. We’ve even made it easier to book online in case some of your friends bail on you (it’s sad but it happens). Now when you book online, it won’t charge you, and everyone can pay separately or in one lump sum on the day. The only way you would get charged is if nobody shows up. The no show fee is only for 4 people max. Even if you booked for 10 or more. This is to try to ensure the initial organizers of the fun don’t get penalized anymore if a few of their flakey friends are no shows.

One of the other big upgrades we’re in the process of getting ready for you is a brand new, MUCH bigger party room. Equip with a pool table, photo booth, foosball, with lots of extra space to social distance. It’s going to be the PERFECT place to hang out and celebrate with your friends and fam. In between pelting each other with foam arrows of course.

During the lockdowns we were also keeping quite busy on TikTok and went from 10K to over 250K followers. Be sure to follow us here to keep up to date with all things Archers Arena, and hopefully get entertained and learn something along the way. You can also check us out on Instagram or Facebook.

There’s light at the end of the tunnel, and we’re so excited to see you guys again! Book your next birthday party now!

See you soon players!

Find out the answer to all your New Year’s Resolutions

Can you believe that another year has passed? Yes, it’s soon going to be 2020.

Yes - that time of the year when we make promises to self - the time for New Year’s resolutions.

The tradition of New Year’s resolution goes way back in time but as long as you keep at your resolution track you can skip the history lesson.

Resolutions majorly are of two kinds – kicking a bad habit or starting a positive habit. And like most things in life, most resolutions are common. Always remember that whether your goal is short-term or long-term, there is no goal that you cannot accomplish.

Without further ado, we at the Arena, are listing down 10 most common New Year’s resolutions and how we can help you achieve them.

  1. Exercise more – What if you are a self-proclaimed #GymFreak that pumps iron every-day or that ultra-runner that runs weekly marathons – is there really scope for you to exercise more? So for everyone alike – if your resolution is to exercise more – come over to Archers Arena and choose to have a fun workout – and the best part? You get to decide what you want – Combat Archery, Nerf Wars, Bubble Soccer or Saber Wars and not your trainer. So now sweating can be fun.

  2. Lose weight - If you’re one of those who paid the annual membership fee to the best gym in town when 2019 came in and showed up only the first 3 days – well be honest to yourself. You’d probably do not like an instructor chasing you around the gym. So what can you do in 2020 to lose weight? Join our community night every Friday where you can play 2 hours of intense cardio for only $25. And we’ll be adding more dates in the new year to our community night. *wink wink*

  3. Learn a new skill or hobby – How does Bubble Soccer sound to you? Or Combat Archery or Nerf? Come learn these alternate- fun sports where you and your friends can have the time of your life. So make 2020 the year you learn something cool.

  4. Save more money / spend less money – We’re so competitive when it comes to pricing that it’s not even funny. We have the best rates, discounted packages – more affordable than your neighbourhood sweatshop. We don’t make you buy any equipment, any musical instrument. Thank us later for saving your money on the gym subscription.

  5. Quit smoking – For the time you are at the Archers Arena, you are always having a good time. So more endorphins kicking in – more dopamine (happy hormones) – and you are no more dependent on cigarettes. It has been scientifically proven but we’ll skip the science lesson, in case you still want to know the details – read here. Also, we’re a no-smoking zone – so you can’t really smoke in here.

  6. Spend more time with family and friends – All of what we do at Archers Arena is family-friendly – so if you’re 5 and above – get ready to have some fun. If you don’t like your cousins, well you can choose from arrows or nerf pellets (we won’t tell on you). Jokes aside, physical activity with family and friends is known to help build lasting bonds. So, more reasons for you to come over.

  7. Travel more – If you have a ‘Wanderlust’ tattoo – we can totally understand. How about travelling the world and competing in Combat Archery? Archers Arena just hosted the 4th Tri-city Combat Archery Tournament last month and we’ll be travelling in February for the 5th Edition. Come over every Friday for Community Night, we are always looking for new talent to join our team. If you make the team, who knows, it might be Vegas next. And hey… if you are ever in a dilemma when you can’t decide between taking a vacation or combat archery – we have friends all over the world. UK, US, Australia, you name it. So you can play your favourite sport even when you’re on a vacation.

  8. Read more – Everybody wants to get back to reading but the perfect book does not exis----  Arena Bible – The secret book of games that haven’t been discovered yet. Well, the book only appears on the night of the two moons. But we do have many game-modes for Combat Archery, Nerf Wars, Bubble Soccer, and Saber-Wars that you can read/know about. Just follow us on social media, or better still come over.

If you have a resolution that we have missed or if you have any questions, feel free to email us at info@archersarena.com questions. You can even call at (647)-992-7362. Follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for more. And yeah, Happy New Year 2020.

5 Different Ways To Celebrate Your Birthday In Toronto

5 Different Ways To Celebrate Your Birthday In Toronto

Hey shorty. It’s your birthday.

But you are sick of doing the same thing every year – going to the same restaurant with same people. Try Something new.

So, you want to party but don’t want to do the regular-everyday-normal people stuff? Then read on to skip the boring lunch and/or dinner.

1.     Hit some cold ones and Karaoke – We mean the soda pops or whatever you fancy. Some liquid courage always helps in getting up there and singing your heart out. Karaoke can be an exciting theme for an entertaining birthday party. Some people find karaoke embarrassing – but hey- if you don’t do it in your birthday – then who will?

2.     Turn your house into a club – You could choose to wait in line that seems longer than the black-Friday’s, right outside a club for almost eternity and pay a $20 cover charge to enter OR you can just turn your house into a club. So, no need to stand outside in the cold in your pretty dress. Just throw a big party and get everyone over instead. Not only is this cost-effective but hey- if you want to pass out- there is no place like home.
Pro-tip: AirBnB instead if you don’t the cleaning next morning.

3.     Kick some balls with Bubble Soccer – Do you like to get physical? Do you have friends that you want to smash? Then Bubble Soccer is just for you. Get ready to knock, bump, tumble over your friends in fun-sized soccer with over 20 game-modes. Play in teams of 3-4 and for up to 16 people in a fully air-conditioned facility at Archers Arena – go to place for Bubble Soccer in Toronto.

P.S. - Getting goals isn’t the only way to score. *wink wink*

4.     Aim at the birthday person in a game of Archery Tag – Birthday bumps or “the dumps” are a thing of the past. If you are deep into Hunger Games, Hawkeye, Green Arrow, Robin Hood or Neytiri from Avatar, you know we are talking about Combat Archery. And if it’s your birthday – then you get to play absolutely FREE. Psssssshhhh….That’s another reason to shoot some arrows straight at the birthday person. For the best experience in Combat Archery Tag in Toronto, get in touch with us. We have some real cool deals.

5.     Shoot nerfs around in Nerf Wars - What can be more fun than nerfing around on your birthday. We have, “Nerf Guns, lots of nerf guns.” Just the way Keanu Reeves likes it. For kids, teens, adults, and all nerds alike – Nerf Wars is a lot of fun. Not only can you build your very own bunker base but you can also take to the sniper nests. And if you want to save dat money while you are at it, check out some birthday deals by Nerf Wars Toronto. How bow dat?

So, this birthday – don’t just do ordinary things like people do - but have the best birthday in Toronto. If you know someone whose birthday is coming up, do share these fun ideas across. Feel free to drop a comment below if you have any questions, email us at info@archersarena.com , reach out to us on social media or simply pick up your phone and give us a call at (647)-992-7362.

Mobile Archery, Nerf, and Bubble Soccer!

Mobile Archery, Nerf, and Bubble Soccer!

Having a big corporate outing and you would rather host it than moving everyone around in an attempt to keep things simple and organized? Archers Arena has the answer for you. Archers Arena has special packages prepared specifically for those who have the space and the will to receive our battle archery and/or nerf mobile kits. Our website offers additional information on all possible packages and deals, but here is exactly why you should entrust your event to us:

WE ARE EXPERIENCED AND HAVE BEEN SUCCESSFUL EVERYWHERE WE WENT.

When it comes to combat archery tag, we have held numerous stations outside for all sorts of different events. We have ranged from being a top attraction at the TNT Night Market to being a fan favourite at multiple Frosh Weeks for Universities and Colleges, so you can imagine the scale at which we can function. Therefore, it becomes safe to say that Toronto already knows us as the specialists we are when it comes to battle archery, otherwise referred to as archery dodgeball. We bring along all the protection and equipment needed, as well as bunkers and huge inflatable walls to delimit the perimeter. Our games are tried and true, and our coaches know exactly how to handle all sorts of different groups.

As for Nerf, although it is our newest attraction here at Archers Arena, it is already becoming a major success. Our choice of weaponry along with the very low amount of jams and hiccups we have experienced is a direct result of learning from all the mistakes other branches of nerfing have had at different facilities. We’ve done our homework in order to bring the best out of Nerf at Archers Arena. We are ready to bring you nerfing in our own special way, with high quality weapons such as Rival and N-Strike, for ammo capacity, reload speed, low to no jamming systems, and overall precision. As for game modes? They mostly follow the general Nerf Wars guidelines, but we do add some combat archery tag game modes or twists, simply to make the games that much more interesting. An exciting twist on an already great system.

Lastly, we do offer to bring along our inflatable bubble soccer kit. We let you play with the huge bubbles as you want, or we can set up different games with them; whichever suits your needs best. Bubble soccer is an instant favorite as both a daily activity or something to do during a break from the main events: battle archery or nerf. The option is there for your consideration.

Summer is right around the corner, and everyone is starting to feel the urge to go outside and soak up the sun. Evidently, this will be done when the weather allows for it, just as combat archery tag and Nerf Wars played outside will both become viable options. Mobile archery and Nerf are both becoming very popular, so make sure to book online in advance to guarantee our services, or give us a call at 647-992-7362.

Nerf Wars!

Nerf Wars!

First off, what exactly is a Nerf War? Well, we are talking about a gathering of people that all want to shoot at each other while being able to walk away unscathed by the experience; through Nerfing. Nerf guns are granted to all players, teams are assigned, and then off to war they go; various game modes bring out different strategies and tactics to gain the upper hand. We at Archers Arena are going to use Rival series guns, such as the Artemis and the Nemesis (when it comes out in North America), and will also include in certain game modes the Triad Ex-3 Elite. Last but not least, we also offer the N-Strike Strongarm as an alternative.

As stated in our previous article, Archers Arena is going to introduce Nerf Wars in our facility. The following combines clarification on what exactly Nerf warfare entails, as well as multiple game modes which will be taking place at the Arena.

Rules are relatively simple: don’t cheat, don’t be “that guy (or gal)”, and respect other players as well as the equipment. In our aforementioned article are some of the game modes we are already planning on using once we officially start off our Nerf War enterprise. The games we are going to play will mostly follow along the three main categories: Elimination, Attack & Defend, and Objective Rounds.

When we talk about Elimination type games, the objective is rather simple, either be the last man or the last team standing. A commonly used game in this category is referred to as 3-15. There are obviously numerous variations of this game used throughout the world, but they generally base themselves on the principle that you get 3 lives, with 15 seconds before you can respawn, hence 3-15. When you are shot 3 times, you are out of either the game or the round, as it is set up by the host. When you are shot but still have lives left, you must kneel, aim at the sky and slowly count down 15 seconds before shouting “clear” and resuming play.

Next up, Attack & Defend is also quite straight-forward in its name as to its purpose. There is an obvious split between attackers and defenders, although there might be more than one attack team depending on the specific objective of the game and the number of people playing. Generally, groups are split in thirds, with 1/3 defending and 2/3 attacking. There is a goal to be achieved for the attackers within a set time limit, and defenders must “hold down the fort” so to speak, regardless of what the “fort” may be.

Last but not least, Objective Rounds imply that a round will have a specific objective in mind for all teams to accomplish, other than simply eliminating one another. Players typically have unlimited respawn by either counting themselves in or returning to a set spawn point every time. The game ends when a set number of points is hit or all objectives are accomplished.

All in all, Nerf War is going to be a great cardio addition to our health inclined establishment! Wither you come in with the intention to shoot people with bullets or arrows, we will soon be equipped to oblige both. Make sure to look for our announcements not the miss our grand opening of Nerf Wars at Archers Arena!

Play Nerf Wars at Archers Arena!

Play Nerf Wars at Archers Arena!

Since we have perfected the art of combat archery tag, we at Archers Arena have decided to take on a new challenge. Nerf Wars. You heard us right. Sometime in the near future, you will be able to use our facilities to come play games with Nerf guns!

Since we like to guarantee high quality experiences, we have obtained some of the best equipment on the market. We want to insure that the guns won’t jam because of faulty ammunition, while also leveling the playing field so players aren’t at a disadvantage because of the weapon they choose. All of our main guns are going to be Rival series, such as the Artemis for close quarters, and eventually the Nemesis for sniping up in our towers (when it comes out in Canada). In certain game modes, we might either include a Triad EX-3 Elite as a sidearm, or maybe have you play with it as a “Golden Gun” type of weapon. Last but not least, our Strongarm is a mix of both worlds; small, yet packs a punch and has more ammunition than the Elite.

We are coming up with a ton of different and innovative game modes we cannot wait to test out. As mentioned previously, our “Golden Gun” beta involves our little pistol. Every player starts with one bullet, the idea being one shot, one kill, and last man standing wins, in a Golden Eye Nintendo 64 themed game style. With our bigger guns, we are obviously planning some team matches, such as “Medicine Ball”, where there is a healing ball passed around that can be used to heal your teammates, where the goal is to capture the enemy’s ball before they get yours, or even “Team Deathmatch” where you group up into teams of 2-3 people and form temporary alliances with other groups until there’s only one team left standing.

We want to have a balanced session focused on game-play, and create the premium Nerf experience. We went out to other facilities to try it out, and gather the best feedback, with the purpose of combining them into one epic session containing none of the downsides we experienced in our outings. Our dedication to customer satisfaction is just that high. With a group of trigger-friendly enthusiasts like us, it’s bound to be a one of a kind experience filled with different kinds of challenges and fun times. Look for Nerf Wars at Archers Arena soon for a new thrill-inducing experience!
